1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Care by Sneaklin ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Care by Sneaklin provides on-demand sneaker cleaning and care services. Our service includes pickup, cleaning, and delivery of your sneakers. We offer various cleaning packages and add-on services as described on our platform.

3. User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and complete information when booking services
  • Ensure sneakers are properly prepared for pickup (remove socks, any other accessories)
  • Be available at the specified pickup date and location
  • Review and approve the quote provided after inspection
  • Pay for services after quote approval
  • Report any issues within 24 hours of service completion

4. Service Limitations

While we strive for excellence, we cannot guarantee:

  • Removal of all stains (some may be permanent)
  • Restoration of severely damaged materials
  • Exact color matching for heavily discolored items
  • Service for items with structural damage

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices are quoted in Nigerian Naira (₦). After receiving your sneakers, we will inspect them and provide a quote based on the specific service required. Payment is due after inspection and quote approval. We accept various payment methods as displayed on our platform. Prices may be subject to change with notice.

6. Cancellation Policy

No-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee. If you wish to cancel after we have picked up your shoes but before we have started cleaning, you will be charged a pickup fee and return delivery fee, except for walk-in services. Since no payment is collected before pickup, there are no refunds to process.

7. Liability and Damages

Care by Sneaklin maintains comprehensive insurance for your items while in our care. However, we are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage or wear
  • Items left in sneakers during service
  • Damage due to normal wear and tear
  • Loss or damage due to force majeure events

8. Storage & Abandoned Items

Once your order is completed, we will notify you via the Care by Sneaklin app, SMS, email, or phone call. The first successful notification (or reasonable attempted notice where contact details are invalid) starts the storage timeline.

  • Grace Period: 14 calendar days from the first notification—no storage fees during this time.
  • Storage Fees: From day 15, a storage fee of ₦500 per day, per pair applies, up to a maximum of 45 days from the first notification.
  • Abandonment: If items remain uncollected 45 days after the first notification, they may be deemed abandoned. At that point, Care by Sneaklin may dispose of, donate, or otherwise handle the items at our discretion, and we will no longer be responsible for them. No refunds or credits will be issued for abandoned items.
  • Release of Items: Items will be released upon settlement of all outstanding balances, including service charges, storage fees, and any delivery charges where applicable.
  • Operational Impact: Extended in-store storage affects our ability to serve other customers efficiently; we appreciate prompt pickup.
  • Exceptions: Storage fees do not apply where a delay is caused solely by Care by Sneaklin (e.g., ongoing rework agreed with the customer).
  • Right of Retention: We reserve the right to retain items until all outstanding amounts are paid in full.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Your personal information is collected, used, and protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our service, you consent to our data practices as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Care by Sneaklin platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Care by Sneaklin and is protected by copyright laws.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of our service will be resolved in the courts of Nigeria.
